Day out With Thomas (and Tayler)

We braved the crowds again and Tayler and I spent our second day with Thomas the Tank Engine. Is it bad that I hope he's outgrown it by next year? We ended up having a very fun time, and Tayler was in heaven once again.

Tayler's Preschool Graduation (Until Fall)

Tayler survived the first year of preschool. Or maybe I should say that Miss Tami survived Tayler's first year of preschool :)

He's not the easiest kid because he's fiercely independent and his personality isn't easy to decipher. The best description so far is a grumpy old man trapped inside a 4-year-old body. Except he's not always grumpy. He's very serious, but also has an adorable giggle. He's an enigma :)
For the preschool program, Tayler sang a song with 2 other students for his "individual" contribution. I didn't even know he had a part. I asked him, but he said no. He sang the whole song, though. Apparently he just didn't want me getting involved. That's Tayler. That's why we love him.

Sure, Honey...Whatever You Say

A bunny, a bird, and a cat. Seriously? Together? Whatever. That was my reaction to Tayler's excited exclamation that he was watching a bunny, bird, and cat cross the road together through our front window. Sure, honey. What are you smokin'? I think you may have seen too many Disney movies or something. Were the cute little animals singing and cleaning someone's house, too? Yeah. I thought so.

So 5 minutes later I followed Tayler outside so he could show me. And there it was. A baby bunny in my grass. Tayler announced that he had scared the cat and bird away so that they wouldn't hurt the bunny, and now he wanted to hold it. I decided that after my mental accusations of pipe dreams, etc., I owed it to him. He was in heaven, and I think it may have been the cutest bunny ever as long as someone else owns it. So, we played with it and then set out to find the owner. Tayler was dubbed a superhero for saving the bunny and we all lived happily ever.....

May We Please Have a Break?

I hate the month of May. It's nothing personal. OK, so maybe it is personal. May is insane. May is non-stop. Soccer, softball, baseball, tumbling, horseback, school programs, preschool graduation, the start of the photography wedding season, and on and on. Everyone is busy. Again the pictures are all I've got to relive the month (and again missing Tyson's pictures) , so in no particular order:
